{"id":319,"date":"2013-12-10T02:12:54","date_gmt":"2013-12-10T07:12:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bunnyville.org\/xblkx\/?p=319"},"modified":"2014-04-16T00:18:54","modified_gmt":"2014-04-16T05:18:54","slug":"ginger-pork","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/xblkx.lkramer.net\/?p=319","title":{"rendered":"Ginger pork"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I set my hand to recreating a Japanese recipe for ginger pork that our friend Chilli cooked for us last year.\u00a0 This is my version, which I&#8217;m still developing:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lkramer.net\/xblkx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/100_5011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-320\" alt=\"100_5011\" src=\"http:\/\/lkramer.net\/xblkx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/100_5011-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/xblkx.lkramer.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/100_5011-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/xblkx.lkramer.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/100_5011-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thin sliced pork roast (deboned, fat removed) &#8211; roast and eat separately what was trimmed out.<\/p>\n<p>Marinate in:<br \/>\na bunch of freshly grated ginger (2 T?)<br \/>\nperhaps 4 heaping tablespoons soy sauce<br \/>\n1 tablespoon mirin<br \/>\n1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil (I like Kadoya brand).<\/p>\n<p>Cook the pork in small batches in a little olive oil.\u00a0 Add water between batches to deglaze pan and prevent burning.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t overcook.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a flavor explosion!<\/p>\n<p>Some of my guests were having it as a romaine lettuce wrap.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I set my hand to recreating a Japanese recipe for ginger pork that our friend Chilli cooked for us last year.\u00a0 This is my version, which I&#8217;m still developing: Thin sliced pork roast (deboned, fat removed) &#8211; roast and eat separately what was trimmed out.
